Stratis Announces Stratis Unity SDK For Game Development

Recently, Stratis announced the release of the Stratis Unity SDK.

Developed by Unity Technologies, Unity is a cross-platform game engine with a built-in IDE and is used to create video games for web plugins, consoles, desktop platforms, and mobile devices.

Stratis is a blockchain network that makes developing and launching blockchain-based applications and networks easy for developers. The platform allows applications, and side chains to be developed in C#, Microsoft’s .NET framework, and the Stratis API; saving developers from learning blockchain development languages that may be foreign to them.

Stratis said that Unity is one of the most popular gaming engines currently available, along with Unreal and GameMaker. Stratis has further developed the Unity 3D support to include a light wallet and SDK for Blockchain Technologies.

According to Stratis, this integration enables the STRAX Token(Stratis cryptographic token) to be supported within game development as well as the InterFlux Hub. This brings endless use-cases through the utilization of Stratis Smart Contracts in C#.

NFTs(Non-Fungible Tokens) has become an area of particular interest for those developing games with in-game valuables. Because of NFT, in-game items can be genuinely owned by the player, eliminating the risk of losing earnings through forgotten login details and account deactivations.

The company has also released an instructional video demonstrating how Stratis Blockchain Technologies can be easily leveraged during game development. You can check out it below:
