Russia Announces CryptoRuble

The year 2017 is the year of crypto currency and ICOs. Crypto currencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin, are at an all-time high. Bitcoin has gained almost 850% in the past 12 months, reaching a record high $5,900 this week.

Now, Russia is close to making it official. Russia is issuing CryptoRuble, a crypto currency alternative to its currency, the ruble.

According to news published by CoinTelegraph, Russia is issuing CryptoRuble, a state issued and managed crypto currency legalized by the government. Obviously, CryptoRuble cannot be mined by private miners and also cannot be traded at some platform. CryptoRuble will be legal to exchange with the ruble, the Russian currency.
