Legolas Rebranded As LGO

Legolas Exchange, a fair, secure and transparent ecosystem to exchange cryptocurrencies has rebranded as LGO, according to Hugo Finkelstein, CMO of LGO Group via a medium post. LGO now has two companies, LGO Markets and LGO Exchange. Frederic Montagnon will be the CEO of LGO Group and Hugo Renaudin will lead LGO Markets as CEO.

 From the post:

We are now dedicated to making Legolas Exchange a reality and are working harder than ever on the technology, with our future clients and with the regulators to deliver a strong platform as soon as possible.

Our ambition is huge. We want to promote the values of Legolas Exchange — transparency, fairness and security — and bring them to the whole cryptocurrency ecosystem.

This is why Legolas becomes LGO, a fair, secure and transparent ecosystem to exchange cryptocurrencies based on the same technical framework in order to protect cryptocurrency holders and clean the crypto industry from its opacity.

In order to achieve this goal, we have created two subsidiaries, each tailored to our clients’ specific needs:

  • LGO Markets: a semi decentralized cryptocurrency exchange for institutional investors
  • LGO Exchange: a semi decentralized cryptocurrency exchange for retail investors

Both LGO Markets and LGO Exchange will share the same technical framework which will be developed by LGO Group for the two subsidiaries.
