Fortune Merits Overachievers With Their First Ledger 40 Under 40 List

Fortune has recently released The Ledger 40 Under 40 list. This is a supplementary list of young achievers in the field of finance and technology.
 
The list was assembled by Fortune’s team and it focuses on celebrating the people behind the scenes of today’s leading FinTech companies. It acknowledges people creating the revolutionary crypto solutions, working around digital payments or distributed ledgers.
 
Fortune releases a 40 Under 40 List every year that shines a light on pioneers behind some of the fastest-growing businesses, the recent list it had names like Kevin Systorm, Rihanna, Mark Zuckerberg, etc. This year, they introduced The Ledger 40 Under 40 List as a supplementary honor roll. Several names can be seen in both lists like the Winklevoss twins, Cameron and Tyler, Jihan Wu, co-founder of Bitmain, Rachel Mayer who leads Circle, an investing app, Christine Moy, etc.
 
The list only counts achievers who are under 40 hence ever contributor can’t be acknowledged. In the article introducing the Ledger 40 Under 40 List, fortune explained, “Some honourees expressed a desire to keep certain information private, such as their ages, due to security concerns or other personal reasons. For this inaugural list, we have decided to respect their wishes.”
