Recently, Deloitte presented in a survey at CoinDesk Consensus event that around 74 percent of big companies look forward to a compelling business case for blockchain technology.
The firms represented a large range of industries including 23 percent financial services group, 18 percent media and telecommunication groups with some other industries of customer products and healthcare.
Linda Pawczuk, head of Deloitte's U.S. financial services blockchain group, said that "momentum is shifting from a focus on 'blockchain tourism' and exploring the technology's potential to building practical business applications."
In all the respondents of the survey around 34 percent claimed that they were using the blockchain system in their production and other 41 percent stated that they were planning to launch a blockchain application within next year.

The other thing which comes into the light from the survey was that around 68 percent industries are afraid of losing competitive advantage if they don't adopt blockchain technology.
